HOW IS THE EXAM PERFORMED?
After filling out the registration form at the reception desk, the patient will undergo a brief clinical interview to check their data. Then, they will be sent to the injection room. A peripheral vein, preferably in the forearm, will be punctured for the administration of radioactive material. After the injection, the patient will be directed to the exam room.
In the exam room, the patient will be positioned on the device’s gurney and must remain lying down for approximately 20 to 30 minutes to obtain the images.
At the end of the exam, the patient will be discharged without any restrictions.
