After 30 minutes of the tracer administration, the patient will be instructed to empty their bladder and will be directed to the examination room.

Once positioned on the device’s gurney, the patient should remain motionless for about 10 to 15 minutes.

The exam will begin with computed tomography, a phase of rapid duration. Soon after, the PET phase begins, which lasts for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
